Images of my 'Fabric Manipulation' sketchbook, separate from my drawing and mark making sketchbook. Although these sketchbooks initially work separately, they will slowly merge into one and work in conjunction with one another. The process of design and further experimentation is what will bring these two sketchbooks together.
Within this sketchbook you can see a similarity on each page, from the use of fabric, creating sculptural and pattern textiles. The idea of combining textures of fabric with drawn pattern design, altogether creating its own pattern, is the basis of this project.
