I stumbled upon a site named 'Design Seeds' which looks at the combination of colours taken from photographs and imagery. A clever and fun way of recording colour palettes, I used the same technique, looking at images from various 'Bloom' magazines. I've never felt confident with creating my own colour palettes, and this seemed like the perfect way to help me. By picking the most defining colours from each image, I collected a number of them, giving me my very own colour palette. It seems easier, for myself, to look and pick out beautiful imagery because of the colours as a whole in place, rather than colours already distinguished individually. The idea of these colour palettes also being more 'organic' because of existent natural colour combinations in an image, as apposed to colours being forced together, is really interesting.
