Unfortunately when I tested a few fixtures, they weren't very successful. My first idea was to use sticky tabs to fix them to the wall without seeing any fixture, although the sticky tabs damaged the board slightly. So I tried using pins, the thickness of the board, meant that the pins couldn't be fixed in place properly because they were too long, and weren't sturdy enough to hold the shades in place. I then looked at some smaller pins that also had white heads on them, which related to my use of colour, and they were pretty much perfect. However, I didn't manage to find anywhere that sold these pins still, so I had to use white drawing pins which are a little bigger. Technically, they work just as well as the smaller pins, although the aesthetic of the smaller pins works better with the design, because of their subtlety.
