Wandering around a family friends wall garden and potting shed, I stumbled upon a few beautiful items and ideas for my final show. Because I've always looked to nature and rustic values as inspiration for my work, I thought, delving into a few places to try and find some hidden treasures would generate some ideas and sparks to use in the development of the structure and presentation of my final show.
Before I visited the victorian potting shed, I knew I wanted to use some sort of box or stacking structure to display my cushions, and to my surprise, I found some! As soon as I saw them, I knew they were perfect for what I wanted and they had so much old character that I didn't think would be possible to find!
