Transition Buxton

The other week I attended a meeting with a few local women who are part of the 'Transition Buxton Textile Group,' who work with the community to raise awareness and help inform people of how they can be more environmentally friendly around the home. We explored ways of how to get the best out of our textiles and the best ways to wash them, which materials are sustainable and how we can up-cycle. It was really refreshing to talk to people directly who share the same interests in becoming more eco-friendly, and because they were full of information and sources it was also really insightful.
