Tamara Fogle

These stunning bags are made from Antique German Flour Sacks which are also 100% Linen. Some sacks are in perfect condition whereas others have been carefully stitched and repaired reflecting their history and age. The farmers name and sometimes date of when the sack was made are an added beauty to the bags. Because of the distress to the fabric, the stains and the repairs, they have a definite charm. Prices range from £112 - £620 for these particular bags. The designer also has a variety of other materials used to make bags, like Hungarian Grain sacks, Military Tent bags, Indian Quilts and French Mattress Ticking.
