This was one of the first artists I began to look at for this current project, because I was looking at weaving and layers of thread, I found this particular piece interesting because of the form and shape the materials took. The idea of hanging decorations also interests me, and various ways of structure or order that may take place. This piece is made up of hairnets and horse hair from violins, which don't seem like typical materials to work with, but proves that unconventional media can create ambient and peaceful pieces of work.
